Captured

Author’s Note: This is a text structure piece, and it is about the main conflict in my novel.

          Have you ever known what the main conflict in the book that you have is? Well I have. I am reading the book The Fighting Ground by Avi. There are many conflicts in the book that could be the main one but there is one part in the book that is for sure the main conflict.

            Like I was saying is that there is one major part in the book that is for sure the main conflict. That part is, is when the main character Jonathan gets captured. He gets captured by the Hessian soldiers, he gets captured because, he goes to war to save his town and the people that are fighting with him start getting killed so then he runs off into the woods and gets captured. He gets captured because falls on the ground and passes out because he was running for so long and so far.

            Also there is a way that the main conflict gets resolved. You know how he getting captured is the main conflict? The way it gets resolved is by him escaping getting captured. He escapes getting captured by leaving where the Hessians were holding him. He escapes when the guards are sleeping. Now you know what they main conflict is in this book and ho the main conflict got resolved.
