The Outsiders

Author's note: These are predictions about what is going to happen after chapter six in the book The Outsiders

Have you ever felt like you could predict what could happen in the book that you are reading? Well I have, right now I am reading “The Outsiders” by S.E. Hinton and right now I can predict what is going to happen. Other people may have the same prediction that I have but they also can have other predictions too. There can be many predictions as to what is going to happen in this book but those reasons can be way out of the ball park.

Like I was saying before there can be many ways that you can predict what is going to happen in the book. They way that I can predict what is going to happen next is that when Johnny and Ponyboy are hiding away all of the Greasers  will come and stay with them in the church. Then all of the Socs will find out where the Greasers are because Cherry will know and it will slip out they will kick her out of the Socs because she has been spying and the Socs will burn down the church with all of the Greasers in it and the book will end in conflict. I believe that this will happen because this book seems like it will end in conflict because the two groups just can’t get along and now that Bob is dead he Socs will be mad and try to kill all of the Greasers and even some of the Greasers that aren’t bad will get killed too because the Socs think that all Greasers are bad no matter what.

Another prediction that I think could happen is sill all of the Greasers will come and stay with Ponyboy and Johnny including Darry and Sodapop, then Darry will slap Ponyboy again because he just left out of nowhere not telling anyone except Dally. Then when they are all living there it will be peaceful because the Socs rule where they were before and now the Greasers and Socs won’t have to share or fight over a town they will each be a gang that rules one place not to gangs ruling one city. Then they book won’t end in conflict and everyone will stay alive just like the way things were before except the Socs ruling one place and the Greasers ruling another.

After all I think that there are two ways the book could end. The book could end in conflict like a tragedy or it could end in peace because this book could be either one that is how good it is, but it sadly can only be one. In the end there are two good predictions but they aren’t way too far out of the ball park.
