Author’s Note: This is a conflict and resolution piece on person vs. nature in the book “Touching Spirit Bear.”
I am reading the book “Touching Spirit Bear” by Ben Mikaelsen, and in this book one of the major conflicts in this book is person vs. nature. There is really only one type of this conflict in this book; but there are also many resolutions to this conflict. There may be only one major person vs. nature conflicts in this book but there are more than one resolution to this conflict.
Now as I was saying is that the person vs. nature conflict is the main character and the sprit bear, because they have this big brawl part in the book were the bear just mauls Cole who is the main character. One possible solution to this brawling and mauling part is for Cole to of never been bad in the first place because then he would of never had to come to this place. Another possible solution is that when Cole was getting sentenced to either jail or this camp he could have chosen jail because then he would of never went to this camp he would have went to jail instead.
Considering that there is more than one resolution to this conflict that is only two of the many resolutions. If you have read the book you may no more of the resolutions but I think that these two resolutions are two of biggest and most important and maybe even the best of the many. That is the person vs. nature conflict in “Touching Spirit Bear” by Ben Mikaelsen, and two of the many possible resolutions to it.
