Mean to Nice!

Author’s Note: This is a character development piece on the main character Cole Mathew’s and how he changes in the book “Touching Spirit Bear” by Ben Mikaelsen.
What ways have people acted, that when they changed their ways you saw a significant difference? Well in the book “Touching Spirit Bear” by Ben Mikaelsen, Cole Mathews (the main character) changed from being a rude little boy to a nice caring young man. This in the end of the book was very noticeable. Everyone one changes from now and again but some is more noticeable than others.
Now as I was saying is that Cole Mathews is one of the people that you can really notice their change. You can really notice is change because in the beginning of the story he beats up Peter (another character in the story) to almost death for ratting him out for robbing the hard wear store. He beats him so bad that Peter was paralyzed. The way that he changed is when in the end of the book he becomes nice to Peter and gives him this sacred blanket. By giving Peter this blanket it means that Cole really trusts Peter. So that means that this blanket was really a trust blanket which also means that Cole has changed a lot because he used to hate Peter for ratting him out but no he has changed and doesn’t hate Peter anymore.
So now that you understand what I meant by saying that “People change in ways that are very noticeable.” Now when people change you my notice it a lot of sometimes not at all. But even though you don’t see people changing from now and again doesn’t mean they’re not changing it just means it isn’t enough to notice the changes.
