Dead Man's Path Response

Author’s Note: I just finished reading the short story “Dead Man’s Path” and I am writing a point of view piece to tell how it would be different in Mr. Obi’s point of view.
Have you ever wondered what perspective the book “Dead Man’s Path” is in? Well I have and it is in the perspective of the author. The author is Chinua Achebe and the way that he writes it is that he feels that the villagers are right. They are right because since they have had their path there for many centuries they should get to keep it there, and not just have it blocked off by some man who thinks that he is better than everyone because he is more educated. Overall this story is very good and if it was written in Mr. Obi’s perspective it would be a lot different.
Now as I was saying is that this short story would be a lot different in Mr. Obi’s point of view. So I feel that this story would be different because in the beginning of the story once he gets the job he would be extremely happy. Then once he gets the job and he sees the path he would get extremely frustrated with it because the inspectors are  coming and he doesn’t  want his school to get a bad rep like they just lets gross villagers come through their property. So then he would order for it to be immediately blocked off. Then when the priest comes and he tries to explain to Mr. Obi he would not have it and be like nope not happening but then eventually after he thought about it for a while and when he would start to feel bad for them he would give into the pressure and open the trail back up. Then the village would be at rest again and everything would be the same as it was. As well as Mr. Obi being a nice guy again. That is how this story would be different.
